Imogen is a first year music student and choral scholar at Oriel, and having been involved in theatre for a number of years, she has loved making the most of the opportunities Oxford drama has to offer since joining in September. It is only since coming to university that she has had the chance to take on more technical roles in theatre, and has enjoyed diving right in and building her technical abilities. Having done her work experience backstage at West End shows, including the likes of Les Mis and 42nd Street, she has taken on roles ranging from production managing a playhouse musical to directing. She is extremely excited to direct her first show with 00Productions - The Last Five Years, and is looking forward to pursuing her directing career during her time at Oxford. In addition, Imogen is currently working on writing a musical, something she has wanted to do for a long time, and with an extensive background as a musician, with 8 years of training at the Royal Academy of Music, including lessons in composition, she is looking forward to bring this to the Oxford stage hopefully some time next year.
