Finley Bettsworth

LIGHTING DESIGNER​ & PRODUCTION MANAGER

Finley Bettsworth is a second-year medical student at Brasenose College. His enthusiasm for lighting design commenced prior to his arrival in Oxford; highlights from home as a lighting designer include TEDxJESS, Great Expectations and Peter Pan. Since in Oxford, he has made the most of the opportunities in drama, gaining further experience at a wide range of venues and styles of theatre, including assisting with Chicago (Keble O’Reilly, MT19), Crave (Michael Pilch Studio, MT19) and Merrily We Roll Along (Oxford Playhouse, HT20). From this, he was the Associate Lighting Designer for Shadows of Troy (Oxford Playhouse, HT20) and Doctor Faustus (Keble O’Reilly, HT20), and the Lighting Designer for Boys (Burton Taylor Studio, HT20) Frost Nixon (Burton Taylor Studio, HT20) and The Buffa (Michael Pilch Studio, HT20). He is also the Technical Representative for the Brasenose Arts Committee, the TAFF Freshers and Training rep, and the Health and Safety Officer of the Brasenose Ball.
